Pandit Nehru upheld Indias integrity: Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath remembers India’a first PM

Bhopal, May 26, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath paid tributes to the first Prime Minister of India, Late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, on the eve of his death anniversary on May 27. Shri Nath called upon the younger generation to get acquainted with the thoughts and contributions of Pandit Nehru.
The Chief Minister said that Pandit Nehru maintained the integrity of India while maintaining India’s heritage of unity in diversity. He was the builder of modern India. Without him, an integrated India cannot be imagined. His views have become more relevant in the present perspective.
The Chief Minister said that Pandit Nehru strongly opposed communalism. He was always ready to create institutions and establish peace. He was known for his clarity of ideas. Nehru’s contribution in modernizing India will always be remembered. He said that the foundation of today’s India was laid by Pandit Nehru. Be it the beginning of industrialization or the initiatives to create scientific interest or laying the foundation of parliamentary democracy, the contribution of Pandit Nehru is incomparable.
