Institute of Good Governance signs MoU with Public Health Foundation

Foundation will play role of associate in the Health Sector : Shri Parshuram
Bhopal, June 29, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): Atal Behari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis Bhopal has signed an MoU with Public Health Foundation of India New Delhi. Director General of the Institute Shri R. Parshuram and Vice President of Public Health Foundation of India Dr. Lipika Nanda signed the MoU.
The Public Health Foundation of India has established itself as a premier institution to provide training in the field of public health. Work in the areas of education, training, research and policy related to health systems is carried out in the training institutes set up in Bhuvaneshwar, Gandhinagar, Delhi, Hyderabad and Shillong.
Shri Parashuram said that this MoU will provide siginificant support on the research of subjects related to state health services in various projects of State Health Resource Centre located at the Institute of Good Governance. It will strengthen institutional capacities in the field of health in the state and help in imparting training to the government machinery for better implementation of programmes. In the first phase, work on 3 major projects in the state is being started in a supporting role.
Dr. Nanda said that the partnership will provide new opportunities to their institute to understand the circumstances in Madhya Pradesh and work in this area.
Principal Advisor of the Institute Shri M.S. Upadhyaya said that this contract will stregthen the researches in the public health sector in the state.
