Lump sum scheme for Housing Board’s defaulters till July 31

Defaulters urged to avail heavy concession in interest
Bhopal, July 2, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): The Commissioner In-Charge of Madhya Pradesh Housing Board and Director Town and Country Planning Shri Rahul Jain has informed that a lump sum scheme has been started for the defaulters of the Housing Board. In order to provide benefit to the maximum number of defaulters, the period for the payment of the outstanding amount has been extended from June 30, 2019 to July 31, 2019. Shri Jain has urged defaulters that they must avail benefit of this scheme, introduced to give heavy concession in interest rates.
It may be mentioned 50 to 75 percent concession in penal interest is being given to the allottees of hire purchase under the scheme. A facility of lump sum payment of the outstanding amount on normal interest only is given to the defaulters of lease rent. Defaulters can obtain detail information from the office of the concerned estate officer of their respective area.
