Maximum age limit fixed for appointment in government services

Bhopal, July 4, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): The State Government has
issued an order bringing amendment in maximum age limit fixed for
appointment on posts filled through direct recruitment in government
services. Directives in this connection have been issued to all the
departments by the state government.
The minimum and maximum age limit of gazetted, non-gazzetted executive
posts to be filled by direct recruitment by open competition through
Public Service Commission will be 21 to 40 years. The minimum and
maximum age limit of posts, outside the purview of the Public Service
Commission like 3rd and 4th grade posts will be 18 to 40 years.
Five years exemption will be given in the maximum age limit to
scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, other backward classes, employees of
government/corporations/boards/autonomous institutions/civil defence
along with handicapped/women (reserved/unreserved) etc.
As per the order, the age limit of 21 to 45 years has been fixed for
these categories to be filled by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service
Commission and the age limit of 18 to 45 years has been fixed for
appointment on the posts of direct recruitment outside the purview of
Public Service Commission.
