Solar energy to light up Khargone Collectorate building

Bhopal, July 23, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): The new Collectorate building in Khargone district headquarters will also use solar energy for lighting. Fans, AC, coolers, computers, photocopier machines in the building will also be run by solar energy. The building will have electricity supply also which will be used only in times of need.
Solar panel has been installed in the new Collectorate building by M.P. Urja Vikas Nigam. This will not only reduce the expense on electricity but will also be beneficial in environment protection.
60-KW solar pumps of 240 unit electricity production capacity daily have been installed in the building. About 7200 units of electricity will be saved per month from these pumps worth Rs 40 lakhs. This way about Rs 50 thousand will be saved in the electricity bill per month.
