MP Forest Minister Shri Umang Singhar: International Tiger Day on July 29

Bhopal, July 27, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): Forest Minister Shri Umang Singhar will inaugurate the state level programme of International Tiger Day in Minto Hall on July 29 at 11 am. On this occasion, Forest Guard Shri Sumeri Lal Yadav will be honoured with the Satpura Landscape Tiger Partnership Hero Award. Shri Singhar will inaugurate the Kingdom of Tigers Photo Exhibition.
Story books ‘Baghon ki Kahani-Munna ki Zubani’ and ‘Bagh Banayen-Bagh Bachaye’ will be released during the programme. The symbol of Sanjay Tiger Reserve will be released. The results of ‘Hidden Wilderness of Madhya Pradesh’ documentary film contest will be announced. Winning short documentary film will be screened. A short documentary film ‘Kingdom of Tiger’ by Shri Farhan Khan will be screened.
Regional Director of Kanha Tiger Reserve Shri L. Krishnamurthy will give a presentation on ‘M-Stripe’ for active wildlife management and forest protection in Madhya Pradesh. Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Shri Sanjay Shukla will present short documentary film ‘Kanha Tiger Reserve’. There will be screening of small documentary films and presentations on Human-Wildlife conflict, 50 years of Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, relocation of tigers in Panna Tiger Reserve, white tigers etc.
