All police stations of the state included in CCTNS Project: Minister Shri Bachchan

State government fulfills yet another promise
Bhopal, September 6, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): Home and Jail Minister Shri Bala Bachchan has ordered to include 12 new police stations and 210 new senior offices in the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & System (CCTNS). With this, Madhya Pradesh has become one among the leading states in the implementation of the progress criteria issued by the Government of India in the establishment of this system. Also, another promise made by the state government in the manifesto has been fulfilled.
The system will be technically operated in the State Crime Records Bureau at Police Headquarters. Integrated monitoring of 1061 police stations and 638 senior offices has been started by establishing CCTNS command and control room.
Benefits of CCTNS Project
Information about all the criminals of the state will be immediately available to all the police stations through the project. Electronic records can be maintained. Various registers and reports will be prepared with the software. Continuous and intensive supervision of operations of the police stations will be made possible. Information about the arrested criminals and the recovered property will be immediately circulated in all the police stations. Character verification besides the information about the history and nature of criminals will be available at the state level. It will be possible to exchange information of criminals from different states
