Bavaria submits political report of Madhya Pradesh to Sonia Gandhi

Chief Minister Kamal Nath will meet Sonia today Bhopal, September 7, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): On the latest development of Madhya Pradesh (Digvijay-Umang Singhar dispute), new state president and change in organization, state in-charge Deepak Bavaria has submitted a report to Congress national president Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi on Friday. The high command has expressed displeasure over the allegations made by Singhar on former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh. The report also mentions the appointment of a new state president and changes in the organization. Amidst all this, Chief Minister Kamal Nath is also meeting Sonia on Saturday. This has intensified speculation about the appointment of Jyotiraditya Scindia as the state president. Jyotiraditya Scindia, the National General Secretary of the Congress, is abroad till September 10, the path of the new president will be cleared on his return. The party wants to elect the new president of the high command with the consent of Kamal Nath and Scindia. Due to this, a meeting of the state Congress presidents has been convened on September 12. It is believed that during this time a final decision may be taken in the name of the new state president. Scindia’s name is at the forefront of the big names in the race. Apart from this, the names of Ajay Singh, Bala Bachchan, Umang Singhar, Omkar Singh Markam, Ramnivas Rawat and Prabhuram Chaudhary are also in discussion.
