CM Shri Kamal Nath to inaugurate Mukhya Mantri Awas Mission in Jhabua

Five lakh houses to be constructed in all cities of State
Bhopal, September 10, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath will inaugurate the most ambitious scheme ‘Mukhya Mantri Awas Mission (Urban)’ to provide houses to urban houseless persons on Wednesday at Jhabua. Now houseless persons dwelling in slums will become house owners. Five lakh houses will be built under the mission. The Minister for Urban Development and Housing Shri Jaivardhan Singh will also be present on the occasion.
The objective of the mission is to provide lease deeds (Pattas) of the residential plot and pucca house to the urban poor dwelling in towns of Madhya Pradesh. In the mission for house ownership, houses will be constructed on the basis of hire purchase and public private partnership. This scheme will be run constantly.
Patta distribution
The initial list will be published from September 15, 2019. The final list will be published by October 30 after examining and rectifying claims and objections. Pattas will be distributed from November 5 till December 20.
Under the mission, ownership of residential land will be given to urban poor. Financial help will be given to convert kuchcha and semi kuchcha house into pucca house and organized development of slums will be done.
Financial Pattern
Under the mission, free ownership of plot costing from Rs. One lakh to one lakh 50 thousand per house to beneficiaries and grant of Rs. 2 lakh 50 thousand per house will be given for construction of house by convergence in other schemes.
A grant of Rs. 3 lakh per house to the beneficiaries of slums and Rs. One lakh 50 thousand to other beneficiaries will be given. An amount from Rs. One lakh 75 thousand to Rs. 2 lakh 25 thousand per house will be given for land and infrastructure development works.
