Industrial units of State to be benefitted by Rooftop Solar Project Cabinet Decisions Bhopal, September 25, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): The Cabinet meeting held under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath at Mantralaya today has given sanction for fixed equity share capital for execution of Indore (Mhow) to Manmad new rail line project to connect Indore with the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust. The total cost of the project is estimated at Rs. 8 thousand 931 crore. According to the total cost, the total equity of Rs. 408 crore 64 lakh i.e. 15 percent has to be given in 4 years as the capital share of Madhya Pradesh Government. In the first installment 2019-20, an amount of Rs. 36 crore 89 lakh has been sanctioned. After the execution of the project, the distance from Indore to the port trust will come down by 150 k.m. The industrial activities of Pithampur, Khandwa and Burhanpur will get boost from the rail line. Industrial units will be benefitted by Rooftop Solar Project The cabinet has also taken a decision in connection to initiate necessary action to benefit various industrial units of Mandideep and Pithampur industrial areas and later on other industrial units set up by MPSIDC in other industrial areas with rooftop solar project according to the provisions of Madhya Pradesh Decentralized Renewable Energy Policy 2016. The Cabinet has given approval to the demand for refund of the primary invested amount of Rs. 17 crore 15 lakh by MPSIDC in 90 MLD water supply scheme for constant and adequate water supply to industries to be set up in Pithampur-Dhar-Mhow Investment Region and Pithampur Industrial Area. The Cabinet has taken a decision in context to increase in rates of transport permit fees on minerals. The cabinet has decided to levy transport permit fee of Rs. 100 per tonne on lime stone, dolomite, fire clay, manganese, copper (ore), rock phosphate, pyrophyllite, diaspore, ochre, bauxite, iron (ore), calcite, coal, quartz, cilica sand, shell, slate, soap stone and Rs. 60 per tonne transport permit fee on flag stone, granite, marble and soil stone. This increase will come with effect from April 01 every year. Along with increase in forest produces transport fee, 5 percent increase will be made every year and the policy will be reviewed at the government level after 5 years. The Cabinet has endorsed the Chief Minister’s order dated 5th September, 2019 to continue the Take Home Ration for the Aganwadi Centres through the selected successful tenderers of the short term tender invited in the past by the department. Rs. 1455 crore 33 lakh sanctioned for Chhindwara Institute of Medical Sciences The cabinet approved the revised administrative sanction of project costing Rs. 1455 crore 33 lakh for the construction of new educational hospital and other buildings affiliated to Chhindwara Institute of Medical Sciences and for operation and maintenance of machines/plants /equipments and services. The cabinet granted approval for creation of total 5976 posts for organizational set up of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Ltd. Also, approval for creation of academic posts of Hospitality Education Institutions run under the Department of Tourism was granted by the cabinet.
