CM Shri Nath dedicates book on “Madhya Pradesh and Gandhiji”

Bhopal, October 2, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath today dedicated a book on “Madhya Pradesh and Gandhi ji” published by the Public Relations Department at the “Gandhi Parv” ceremony held on Gandhi Jayanti at Bharat Bhawan today. It may be noted that the first edition of the book “Madhya Pradesh and Gandhi ji” was published on the birth anniversary of Gandhi in the year 1969. The book has been published again on Gandhiji’s 150th birthday after half a century.
This book is an important document of the compilation of Gandhiji’s visits to the then Madhya Pradesh and his ideology. The book has two parts. The first part “Padchinha” focuses on the ten journeys by Gandhiji in different zones of undivided Madhya Pradesh. The second one “Prerna” contains a discussion of the freedom movement evolved by the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, which had awakened the new mantra of public awareness in the entire Madhya Pradesh.
In the message published in the book, Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath has said that Gandhiji’s philosophy and thoughts are beyond the limits of time and are relevant in every chronicle. This is the reason that even today, the process of proper consideration of any national issue does not seem possible without Gandhiji.
Commissioner and Secretary Public Relations Shri P. Narhari said in the foreword of the book that a new generation will also pave the way for Mahatma Gandhi’s journey of life, philosophy, contemplation, vision and wealth of ideas. This will also enrich the new generation ideologically.
