Women of Livelihood Mission to put up stalls in New Delhi food court

Bhopal, October 9, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): Six women members of Self-Help Groups of Madhya Pradesh Livelihood Mission will put up stalls of traditional delicacies and sweets at the food-court organized at India Gate in New Delhi from October 10-23. These women include Sushri Poonam and Sushri Neerja Ahirwar of Chhatarpur district, Sushri Ganga Ahirwar of Guna, Sushri Rajni Rathore of Sehore, Sushri Hina Khan and Sushri Rajni Varman of Jabalpur.
The women members have been trained by M.P. Institute of Hospitality Travel and Tourism in two phases. The food court is being organized by the Ministry for Rural Development Government of India.
Chief Executive Officer of the Mission Smt. Shilpa Gupta informed that culinary arts and professional training was organized from September 18-27 and October 3-7 with the support of Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India in Chhatarpur, Guna, Sehore, Jabalpur, Rewa, Badwani, Bhopal, Indore and Sagar district. In this training was imparted to women members of 25 self-help groups to prepare delicious traditional delicacies, sweets and namkeen.
