Chief Minister honored 4 personalities with Ojasvini award in Damoh Bundeli Mahotsav

Bhopal, April 21, 2018 (Muslim Saleem):  Chief Minister Mr.  Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Madhya Pradesh will become leading state of the country in women empowerment field. Several schemes and programmes are being implemented in the state in this connection. He said this at the inaugural function of Bundeli Mahotsav at Damoh today. Four personalities of national stature were honoured with Ojasvini Alankaran-2017 and book written by Dr. Sudha Malayya was also released on this occasion. CM Mr.  Chouhan said that our old dream to make girls lakhpati is fulfilling now. We have introduced Ladli Laxmi yojana to encourage girl child birth and have made arrangements for their education, marriage, to empower them and to give reservation in employment. CM Mr.  Chouhan said that Bundeli culture is amazing. Its songs, music, food, art, culture and life values are different than others. It is matter of pride to honour personalities through this mahotsav. He also expressed worries about the atrocities on women on this occasion. Mr. Chouhan honoured Brahamarishi Subhash Patri and his wife Mrs. Swarnalata Patri with Ojasvini Ardhnarishwar Alankaran, Sadhvi Gyaneshvariji with Ojasvini Shikhar Alankaran, Dr. Sharad Renu Sharma with Ojasvini Sheersh Alankaran and Mrs. Shama Bhate with Special Kala Shikhar alankaran.

Minister for Panchayat and Rural development Mr.  Gopal Bhargava mentioned that the word Ojasvini is a symbol of woman power, we all should work together for their upliftment. He also praised Chief Editor of Ojasvini Magazine Dr. Malayya. Dr. Sudha Malayya informed that Ojasvini is the only women centered magazine of the state. It has added several new dimensions during the last 25 years. Ojasvini Alankaran Samaroh has been organized since the last 20 years. This is the 7th year of Damoh Bundeli Utsav. Programme begun with Vande Matram.

Chief Minister Mr.  Chouhan and other guests lighted a lamp before Maa Sarasvati to inaugurate women convention and Ojasvini Alankaran samaroh. Minister for Finance and Commercial Tax Mr.  Jayant Kumar Malayya, MLAs Ms. Umadevi Khatik, Mr.  Lakhan Patel, Chairman of District Cooperative Central Bank Mr.  Rajendra Guru, Commissioner Mr.  Ashutosh Awasthi, IG Mr.  Satish Kumar Saxena, District and Session Judge Mr.  Shambhusingh Raghuvanshi, Collector Dr. Shriniwas Sharma, SP Mr.  Vivek Agrawal and prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
