Minister Kunwar Shah dedicates hostels in Subhash school of excellence
Bhopal, May 6, 2018 (Ataullah Faizan): School Education Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah has said that the state government will not allow lack of funds to come in the way of the education of talented children. He said that the state government will also reimburse the fees for higher studies of meritorious children. Kunwar Shah was addressing the gathering at the public dedication of newly-constructed 100 seater hostels each for girls and boys of Government Subhash Higher Secondary School of Excellence in Bhopal today. The Minister also announced to give additional uniform to the students studying in the hostel on this occasion. These hostel buildings have been built at a cost of around Rs. 5 crore. The School Education Minister said that students of Bhopal School of Excellence who have achieved high positions in different areas will be invited and honoured at the school. He said that it is a matter of pride for the school that Vivek Sahu, a student of the school has become a successful fighter pilot. Referring to the importance of teachers, the School Education Minister said that in the Indian society, there has always been a great place for Gurus. Keeping this tradition in mind, the School Education Department has given teachers the status of builders of the nation. He specifically mentioned the bravery of Raghunath and Shankar Shah, Tantya Bhil of the Scheduled tribe.
Kumar Shah said that hostel buildings for boys and girls are being constructed at a cost of Rs 7 core at 41 district headquarters of the state. He said that solar energy will be utilized in the hostel buildings to provide hot water and other facilities to the students. Commissioner Public Instructions Mrs. Jayshree Kiyawat said that coaching for admission in national academic institutions like IIT, IIM will be made available to the students from these schools. Students of the school presented a cultural programme on the occasion. Director Public Instructions Mrs. Anju Pavan Bhadoria was also present during the programme.
