Government to bear fees of poor students with below 70 percent marks also

Schemes based on teachings of Lord Buddha: CM Mr. Chouhan

Bhopal, May 14, 2018 (Ataullah Faizan):  Continuing the tradition of secularism, the 2562th birth anniversary of Lord Buddha was celebrated here at the Chief Minister’s residence today. Revenue Minister Mr. Umashankar Gupta, Minister of State for General Administration Mr. Lal Singh Arya, Chairman of Tribal Commission, Mr. Bhupendra Arya and office-bearers and a large number of Buddhist devotees were present at the Buddha Purnima Mahotsav. CM Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the State Government has made the scheme based on the path shown by Lord Buddha. The rich are being taxed and needy are being helped. There will be no poor person without land. in the state. Everyone will have a permanent house. Treatment of diseases and education will be free. Funds will be made available for women for their nutrition so that they give birth to healthy children.

Mr. Chouhan said that children of poor families will get benefit under the Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana even if they get less than 70 percent marks. He said that all these works are based on the teachings of Lord Buddha’s mercy and love. He said that the train from Vidisha to Bodh Gaya will leave on June 29 under Mukhya Mantri Teerthdarshan Yojana. Other trains will also be sent if the number of devotees is more than expected.

Mr. Chouhan said that Buddhism is amazing. It gives darshan of eternal peace to a world engulfed in the fire of materialism. There is a solution to all the sorrows and sufferings in the teachings of religion. If everyone follows the path shown by Lord Buddha, all problems will come to an end. Referring to the events of Lord Buddha’s life, he said that God has given the message of happiness, love and mercy. Everyone should try to give a message of peace instead of war and conflict, co-ordination in place of conflict and love in place of hate.

Sagar, son of Bhadant Shakhya, said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state where the all religious avatars are honoured at the Chief Minister’s residence and the awareness of all religions is celebrated with joy in which the Chief Minister of the state takes part. He prayed to God that Madhya Pradesh always remains an ideal example of happiness, prosperity and brotherhood.
