High-level committee to be constituted to form integrated policy

CM Mr. Chouhan launches DICCI’s Madhya Pradesh chapter

Bhopal, May 27, 2018 (Muslim Saleem):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that an integrated policy will be made to empower Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe financially in every field in the state. A high-level committee will be constituted to formulate this policy. Representation of Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI) will also be seen in this committee. Mr. Chouhan was launching DICCI’s Madhya Chapter here today. Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Mr. Thawarchand Gehlot was present on the occasion. CM Mr. Chouhan said that effort will be made to establish an industry in every gram panchayat. Efforts have also been made to increase opportunities for self-employment in every sector under Micro, Small and Medium Industry Policy. The Government wishes that youth become employers instead of people who are seeking employment. He said that the youth in the state are able, have the capacity, talent, qualification and creativity in them. The need is only of able guidance and support. Mr. Chouhan urged the DICCI Sangathan to extend support in the government’s efforts to prepare new business leaders in the weaker sections of the state. Referring to the industrial unit run by women in Kiratpur industrial area, the Chief Minister said that this unit has generated a net income of Rs 20 crores from poultry farming alone. This unit has a business of Rs 240 crores in about 12 districts in the state.

Congratulating Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi for the Centre’s four glorious and successful years, Mr. Chouhan said that Mr. Modi’s leadership has added to the country’s honour in the world. Whatever the Prime Minister said he has acted on it with full honesty. He said that the country’s well-being is in “Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas”. For this the Prime Minister has initiated several new schemes. Beneficiaries of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe class have obtained financial assistance on priority under schemes like the stand up scheme. Mr. Modi himself monitors the schemes.

Founder Chairman of DICCI Padmashri Mr. Milind Kamble said that Madhya Pradesh is joining DICCI in the form of its 24th chapter. This chapter will help in creating 5,000 entrepreneurs and taking the policies to the common man. He told that this organization is active in all states as per the principles of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. DICCI is an active participant in the formulation and implementation of Centre’s policies. He said that youth belonging to the 18-35 age group constitute 65 percent of the population of Scheduled Case and Scheduled Tribes. Mr. Kamble termed Mudra Yojana as the most successful scheme of financial inclusion.

Chairman of DICCI South India unit Padmashri Mr. Ravi Kumar Nara gave information of the support being extended by the government in the industrial sector and the schemes being implemented in the South Indian states. Chairman of DICCI Western India unit Mr. Nischay Shelke gave information about the organisation’s structure. Speakers mentioned the support of Dr. Anil Sirvaiya in the setting up of the state chapter and expressed his gratitude. MLA Mr. Vishnu Khatri, Principal Secretary Women and Child Development Mr. J.N. Kansotia, other senior officer, entrepreneurs and elite citizens were present on the occasion.
