Cultural center to be made to preserve tribal culture: CM Mr. Chouhan

Chief Minister holds discussions for development of tribal at village Jakhawadi

Bhopal, June 2, 2018 (Muslim Saleem):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan held deliberations and gathered information from the heads of tribal for development of tribal at village Jakhawadi of Bichhua block of Chhindwara district today. About 250 sarpanchs of the district, public representatives and other eminent people presented their views in connection to the development of tribal. All the people discussed about the development of their concerned areas. CM Mr. Chouhan mentioned that this is altogether a different kind of programme, in which efforts have been made to hear people and efforts are being made to redress their grievances. He said that water problem of this area will be solved. Small ponds and water bodies will be constructed inthis connection. He further stated that water availability test will be conducted at Machagora dam and on this basis an action plan will be made to ensure water availability in this area. He also elaborated about the benefit being provided under the Shramik Kalyan Yojana. Mr. Chouhan mentioned that the concerned officers should solve the cases of grazing and forest land. He said that as per the requirement tribal community bhavan will be made and such a cultural center will be made, where tribal culture can be preserved. Mr. Chouhan told to make a plan to preserve Gondi language and culture. He further mentioned that convention of women self-help group should be organized to make them economically empowered.

He issued instructions to hold job fair, in which youth can be benefited through self employment schemes. Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan also asked to discussed action plan for cottage industry based on forests produce and instructed to launch drive for de-addiction. He said that 40 lakh houses will be provided to beneficiaries left under Pradhanmantri Awas yojana and Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana.

On the occasion, state farmer welfare and agriculture development minister and district in-charge Mr. Gaurishankar Bisen, District Panchayat President Mrs Kanta Thakure, Chairman of Bharia Development Authority Mrs Urmila Bharti, MLAs, Mr. Choudhary Chandrabhan Singh, Pt Ramesh Dubey, Mr. Nathan Shah Kavareti and Mr. Nanabhau Mohod, Chairman of Nagar Panchayat Pipal Narayanvar, Mr. Raju Parmar, Divisional Commissioner Mr. Ashutosh Awasthi, IG, DIG, Collector Mr. Ved Prakash, Superintendent of Police, Mr. Gaurav Tiwari, other officers of the district administration, journalists and sarpanch of tribal community, public representatives and villagers were present.
