CM Mr. Chouhan takes part in cultural programme at Jakhavadi village

Bhopal, June 4, 2018 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a discussion on the issues of development with villagers of Jakhavadi late Friday evening. Jakhavadi is a village of Bichua block in Chhindwada district. The Chief Minister took part in a cultural programme organized on the occasion. Those at the gathering were mesmerized with the patriotic songs sung by Mumbai artist Mr. Charanjit Singh Sodhi during the programme. Giving the inspiration to move on the path of development CM Mr. Chouhan sang the song “Nadiya bahe, bahe re dhara, Chanda chale, chale re tara, tujhko chalna hoga” and left everyone spellbound. Earlier, the Chief Minister performed kanya pujan and presented citations to the girls who initiated the signature campaign for the demand of death penalty to rapists of innocent girls. He said that Indian culture is a culture that honours women. Worship of girls is worship of God. He reiterated his commitment towards the honour of women power.  Minister in charge of the district Mr. Gaurishankar Bisen, District Panchayat President Mrs. Kanta Thakur, Chairman of Bhariya Development Authority Mrs. Urmila Bharti, MLA Mr. Choudhury Chandrabhan Singh, Pandit Ramesh Dubey, Nathan Shah Kavreti and Mr. Nanabhau Mohod, President of Nagar Panchayat Pipalanarayanvar Mr. Raju Parmar and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
