Second phase of “School Chalein Hum” from June 15

Directives to collectors

Bhopal, June 14, 2018 (Ataullah Faizan):  The second phase of “School Chalein Hum” campaign is being started in the state from June 15. Directives in detail as regard to successful execution of the campaign have been issued by the School Education department to the District Collectors, Chief Executive Officers of District Panchayats and Chief Municipal Officers. It has been mentioned in the directives that such students of class one to 11 should be identified, who did not get admissions in schools in the month of April. Along with this, a strategy should be prepared to link children with special need with the mainstream with the cooperation of the community. It may be mentioned that there are about one lakh 23 thousand government schools from class one to 12 in the state. District Collectors have been told that a special Balsabha should be conducted mandatorily in each government school along with the meeting of School Management and Development Committee on June 15. Deliberations should be hold essentially as regard to regular attendance of children, competency upgradation and distribution of text books. Special programmes should be organized by inviting and honouring soldiers and retired defense personnel of Indian Defense Force and Border Security Force at each government school on the Balidan Diwas of Maharani Laxmibai on June 18.

During the second phase of ‘School Chalein Hum’, those ex-students of each government school should be invited specially on June 20, who are playing an important role actively in the society for the development of nation. Mutual dialogues should be hold between such persons and students to inspire school students. Moreover, it has been told that parents’ convention should be organized at each school till June 22. Children’ parents should be invited in these conventions. Presence of such volunteers will be ensured in the conventions, who cooperate actively in the ‘Mil Banche Karyakram’, Pranam Pathshala of the School education department and other activities.

Moreover, District Collectors have been told to organize sports, literary and cultural programmes in at least in one period at each government school of the district from June 15 to 30. Further, it has been told that a special campaign should be conducted for sanitation in government school buildings and hostels and community participation should be ensured in these campaigns. Along with this, hundred percent enrollment of children should be ensured in government hostels, which are being run for children who collect polythene, homeless and orphans.
