Virtual class-room set up in 224 government schools

Mission ‘One Click’ for scholarship distribution

Bhopal, June 16, 2018 (Ataullah Faizan):  A total of 224 government schools at development block level have been selected for teaching through digital study material to students from class IX to XII in the state. Virtual class rooms have been set up in the schools. One room in the selected school has been developed as learning end in which necessary equipment like computer, TV, projector and camera have been installed. Teaching through virtual class has been proved helpful in imparting quality education to students. These classes have been very useful for students in remote rural areas. This has made effective the process of teaching and learning for all students. Virtual class room is being used by resource teachers trained under national middle education mission for teaching.  Scholarships given by different departments to school students have been made online. School education department has been made nodal department for distribution of 30 types of scholarships of eight departments through Samagra education portal. In this process, scholarship has been calculated putting profile of 1.48 crore students studying in all government, non-government schools and educational institutes. On the basis of Samagra unique ID of every school student, Samagra education portal has been prepared for availing school dice code, mapping it with class wise and school wise enrollment. Scholarship has been transferred to students’ bank account through Mission One Click in 2017-18.
