Governor Mrs. Patel visits Timarni Aaganwadi centre: Interacts with children

Bhopal, June 18, 2018 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  The Governor Mrs. Anandiben Patel visited Aaganvadi centre located at ward no. 7 of Tinmarni- District Harda and inteacted with children today. She distributed nutritious food and fruits among the children. A birthday of one of the girl child was also celebrated in the aaganvadi on this occasion. Mrs. Patel gathered information about Iron Tablet and implementation of Matratva Vandana Yojana and gave instruction for better care of the children. The children overjoyed to find the Governor amid them. The Governor reached NRC Hospital and interacted with mothers of children admitted in the hospital and distributed nutrious food and fruits among them. She told the doctors to play an active role to save children from malnutrition. Quality of food, nutrition and water purity should be ensured. MLA Mr. Sanjay Shah accompanied the Governor. The governor Mrs. Patel dedicated newly constructed Shishu Vatika Bhavan of Saraswati Shishu Mandir. She said that Vidya Bharti is working in the field of education at various states of the country. This organisation works in a different style. She informed that work to impart training to aaganvadi workers has been handed over to Vidya Bharti in Gujarat.

Commenting on Shishu Vatika, she said that she is happy to see that Shisku Vatika is working in accordance to the Indian culture. Moreover, the Governor stated that our country holds Vishwa Guru status in the field of education. Modern education has impacted our children so much that they are moving away from Indian culture. She mentioned that education can become useful only, when it is based on Indian philosophy. We have to develop overall personality of children thorugh education and culture.

Children must be taught about the culture along with the education. She told teachers that according to the Indian culture, honound teachers should educate children about the culture besides imparting regular education. Foreigners inspired by our education, culture and ancient traditions are followiing it. She mentioned that children are furure of our country and teachers are their future’s builders. All India Head of Shishu Vatika Mrs. Ashaben Thanke and Pt. Shyamswaroop Manawat also presented their views during the programme. The Governor delibrated with beneficiaries of various schemes at Timarni and gathered information in detail about changes came in their lives. She also participated in Samman Samaroh organised by Gujrati Community at Harda.
