Subject on girl safety to be included in school curriculum: CM Mr. Chouhan

Chief Minister visits hospital to enquire about health of victim of Mandsaur incident

Bhopal, July 6, 2018 (Ataullah Faizan):  The Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited M.Y. Hospital of Indore today and gathered information from the doctors in connection to the victim girl child of Mandsaur incident. He also gave necessary instructions on the occasion. Mr. Chouhan said that girls are considered as Devi in Hindu religion, they are our honour and pride. But some misguided persons of the society are humiliating the humanity. Capital punishment should be awarded to these evil persons. He further mentioned that he has been gathering information regarding the health of the victim from the Superintendent of M.Y. Hospital since first day. CM Mr. Chouhan further mentioned that the state government is committed for the safety of children and women. Punishment will be awarded to culprits, involved in rape with girls within 3 months by conducting a case in fast track court. He said that culprits should not get relief from the High Court and Supreme Court. During the interaction with media at M.Y. Hospital, Mr. Chouhan has informed that expenses towards medical and education etc. of victim girl child will be borne by the state government. He said that our society should give respect to girls and protect them.

The state government has intention that girls should live safely in the state and progress. He further stated that subject on girl safety will be included in school curriculum. Minister of Public Relations Dr. Narottam Mishra, Mayor Mrs. Malini Gour, Chief Minister’s wife Mrs. Sadhna Singh. MLA Mr. Mahendra Hardiya and Senior Administrative officers were present at this moment with the Chief Minister.
