Loan waiver by CM brings smiles of farmers’ faces

Bhopal, December 24, 2018 (Ataullah Faizan):  The decision of Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath soon after assuming the charge of Chief Minister of the state, to waive the outstanding crop loan given the case of short-term crop loan of the farmers of the state, upto Rs. 2 lakhs, as on March 31, 2018, will prove to be beneficial for the farmers. The loan waiver scheme has resulted in enthusiasm among the farmers.
Shri Gokaran Singh, a resident of Gajigwan village in Rampur Baghelan tehsil of Satna district was facing difficulties in cultivation for the last 8 years. He had made efforts to engage in farming after taking loan of Rs 50 thousand from District Cooperative Central Bank quota through K.C.C. Shri Gokaran Singh could not repay the loan of the bank despite continued efforts. Shri Singh used to become disturbed on receiving the bank loan recovery notice. When he came to know that Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath had initiated the loan waiver scheme in the interest of the farmers, he became quite enthusiastic. His joy knew no bounds.
Shri Gokaran Singh believes that the new Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh has taken the decision promptly and launched the loan waiver scheme in the interest of the farmers which will benefit farmers of Madhya Pradesh along with the farmers of Satna district. Shri Gokaran Singh has never turned away from making efforts. Shri Singh is now free of all worries. Chief Minister’s announcement has brought back the smile on his face.
Shri Gokaran Singh told that the new government has come as a boon to the farmers. This government has started making efforts in the direction of releasing the farmers of worries and increasing their income. Shri Singh says that when, Shri Kamal Nath announced the loan waiver soon after the new government was formed in the state and he took oath of office of the post of Chief Minister, he was unable to believe it. It was only when the bank manager himself told that the government had actually waived loan up to Rs 2 lakh that he was able to believe it. Expressing his joy, Shri Singh said that now all our work has been fulfilled and now the household expenses can also be met easily.
The news of the decision to waive farmers’ loan by the new government has spread to every village of Satna district. Shri Singh said that I too have visited every village and told farmers about the new government’s decision to waive off loans. This has given new hope to the farmers. Shri Gokaran Singh has congratulated for the important decision taken by the new government in the interest of farmers.
