Minister Shri Harsh Yadav seeks information of cottage and village industries activities

Bhopal : January 7, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): Minister for Cottage and Village Industries and New Renewable Energy, Shri Harsh Yadav today sought information about the schemes and activities after an introduction with the officials at the Mantralaya. Additional Chief Secretary Cottage and Village Industries Department Smt. Salina Singh informed about the plans through a presentation.
Minister Shri Yadav instructed to take prompt action on points related to the Cottage and Village Industries Department in the 2018 manifesto. He said that the poor sections should get the benefits of the institutions of the department on priority basis. Focus on proper implementation of the programmes for the development of artisans, weavers and craftsmen. Efforts should be made to get a new identity to the Cottage and Village Industries Department through the public welfare works.
Shri Yadav sought information about the works of the institutions of Madhya Pradesh Khadi and Gramodyog Board, Madhya Pradesh Matikala Board, Directorate of Sericulture, Madhya Pradesh Silk Federation, etc. Commissioner Handicrafts Shri Neeraj Dubey, Managing Director Khadi Gramodyog Smt. Madhu Khare, Chief Executive Officer Matikala Board were present on the occasion.
