Bhopal : January 14, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): Minister for Public Relations, Law and Legislative Affairs, Science and Technology, Aviation, Religious Trusts and Endowment, Shri P.C. Sharma described good literature essential for peace and harmony. He said this on the occasion of the First Bhopal Literature and Arts Festival at Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal. More than 100 writers, environmentalists, senior public servants, journalists and artists took part in the 3 Day Festival.
Shri Sharma said that we get a different feeling while entering Bharat Bhavan. Recalling the love of the Former Chief Minister Late Shri Arjun Singh towards the arts and interest in reading, he described Bharat Bhavan as historic memory of his tenure. Defining presence of the dignitaries present at the programme as bouquet, he said that he is very much pleased to see the artists and litterateurs gathered on the occasion from the country and abroad. This programme has brought a sense of pride to Bhopal. The State Government will provide every possible assistance to organize this kind of programme. He also congratulated the organizers for this grand programme.
Coffee-Table Book “Bhopal-Echoes of an Era’ released
