Chief Minister attends Qurrah of Haj pilgrims, vouches for communal peace and brotherhood

Bhopal : January 15, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath said that unity, communal peace and brotherhood are foundation of Indian Culture. He further mentioned that India is the only country in the world with large diversities. Despite several castes, languages and festivals there is unity. The CM Shri Kamal Nath was addressing the Haj pilgrims after the Qurrah (Draw) held for Haj pilgrims at the premises of Taj-ul-Masajid here today.
Shri Kamal Nath further mentioned that despite diversity in the Indian society, India stood united under the tricolour. He stated that India is not only an economic power of the world but is an admirer of values like unity in diversity, brotherhood and peace. This is the image of India in the world. He asserted that Muslim brethren from various parts of India will go to perform haj and they will call themselves Indians on meeting other people. The feeling of this unity makes Indian Culture strong. Shri Kamal Nath mentioned that efforts are made to attack this identity of ours but our nature is such that our intentions can never ever be defeated.

CM Shri Kamal Nath congratulated and extended good wishes to the Haj pilgrims and prayed for their wellbeing. He stated that full efforts will be made to start direct flight service for Haj and also Union Government will be urged in this regard.
Minister for Minorities Welfare Shri Arif Aqueel, stressing on the need for direct Haj flight from Bhopal said that everyone, who wants to go to perform Haj should get a chance. Hazrat Siraj-ul Hasan, Mufti Abdul Kalaam, Qazi Syed Mushtaq Ali Nadvi, Qazi Ishrat Ali-Indore, Nayab Qazi Babar Hasan, Qazi Riyaz Ahmed, Qari Abdul Hafeez, Qari Jaseem Dad, Mufti Raees Ahmed, Qazis of various districts and applicants of Haj yatra were present on the occasion.
