Centre to be urged to implement Koshiyari Committee’s report: Minister Shri Sharma

Bhopal, February 17, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): T he Minister for Public Relations Shri P.C. Sharma  has said that the Union Government will be urged to implement Koshiyari Committee’s report. Shri Sharma paid tribute to the Martyrs of Pulwama attack by lighting a candle before the start of a meeting of the National Coordination Committee of the Retired Employees (1995) held at Panchanan Bhavan, Bhopal.
Shri Sharma said that no action has been taken yet by the Centre on the report presented in Rajya Sabha in the year 2013 by the committee formed under the Chairmanship of the BJP’s Member of Parliament Shri Koshiyari. He further stated the Chief Minister will be urged to send a letter to the Union Government to implement the report. He informed that a letter in this regard was sent by the Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath in the past in the capacity of the State President of Congress Party.
It was informed in the meeting that on implementation of Koshiyari’s report, as many as 3.5 lakh pensioners and 36 lakh employees of the state will be benefitted. The meeting was also addressed by the Employees’ Leader Shri Virendra Khogal, Shri Chandrashekhar Parsai, Shri Mahesh Malviya and Shri Ajay Nilu Shrivastava.
