On plea of girl student, CM Shri Nath makes arrangement for Badminton coaching for all children in Indore

Bhopal, March 2, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath has instructed Indore collector to make arrangements for badminton coaching of children on the appeal of a Class VIth student of Indore, Iwa Sharma. On the directives of the Chief Minister, the Collector made arrangements immediately and made Badminton Hall of SGSITS College available for coaching to the children.
In a letter to the Prime Minister, Kumari Iwa Sharma had written that the district administration has taken the Nehru Stadium under its control for election process. Due to this, the Badminton coaching of children is being affected. In the letter she has also written that after the election process, the wooden court of the stadium also gets damaged. In a letter written to Iwa, the Chief Minister said that, “Your agony is right. Election process is conducted in Indore’s Nehru Stadium since several years. The coming Lok Sabha election has to be conducted. For this, the work of election process has to be conducted this year also in Nehru Stadium. The election is a festival of democracy and is conducted with the participation of all of us.”
The Chief Minister wrote to Iwa that, “although your letter was addressed to the country’s Prime Minister but on seeing the letter I thought that being the Chief Minister; I should solve your problem.”
The Chief Minister said that, “I am unable to make the Badminton hall of Nehru Stadium available to you now as the work of Lok Sabha election process has begun but till the process ends, alternative arrangement has been made. The Indore Collector has been given directions to redress this grievance immediately. Following the Chief Minister’s instructions, the Badminton Hall of SGSITS College of Indore has been made available for coaching of Badminton players from 3 pm to 5 pm.
The Chief Minister has directed the concerned officials to ensure that the wooden court of the Nehru Stadium Badminton Hall is not damaged during the election process.
