Amount of ex-gratia will not be realised from kin of Panchayat Secys: CM Shri Nath

Give feedback of government’s functioning for betterment  2 Chief Minister felicitated by Panchayat Unions
Bhopal, March 5, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): The Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath has said that Panchayat Secretaries are the first link of the government, which ensures government’s success. Panchayat Secretaries at their own level should provide feedback of the governments’ functioning so that the better system could be restored. The Chief Minister gave instruction for immediate withdrawal of an order issued in connection to deduction of Ex gratia amount from the salary of the family member appointed on compassionate ground, which is paid after the death of Panchayat Secretary. Shri Kamal Nath was addressing the felicitation programme of Madhya Pradesh Janpad Mukhya Karyapalan Adhikari evam Panchayat Sachiv Sangathan in Harshvardhan Nagar today.
Shri Kamal Nath said that the government has clarified its policy and intention by establishing the government mechanism according to the expectations and aspirations of the people in the last 70 days.
He further stated that we had inherited Madhya Pradesh in a bad state. We are working day and night to make it a flourishing state. Shri Nath told the Panchayat Secretaries that they have been entrusted with a responsibility for establishing a good image of the government. Therefore, they should discharge their duties with devotion and hard work.
The Chief Minister said that this government honours the responsibilities and capabilities of the Panchayat Secretaries. He stated that we are committed to fulfill the promises, which have been made in the manifesto for the betterment. Shri Kamal Nath assured the unions that they will not have to resort to protest for the fulfillment of the promises.
The Minister for Panchayat and Rural Development Shri Kamleshwar Patel said that the Chief Minister has given instructions for fulfillment of the promises on priority made for the Panchayat Secretaries in the manifesto. The Panchayat Secretaries are the first link to implement government’s scheme successfully. Hence the cooperation of the Panchayat Secretaries is essential for the government, he added.
The Minister for Public Relations and Law and Legislative Affairs Shri P.C. Sharma said that each promise of the manifesto is being fulfilled one by one by the Chief Minister. We all will witness new Madhya Pradesh in the next 5 years.
Shri Bhupesh Gupta, the President of the Madhya Pradesh Janpad Mukhya Karyapalan Adhikari Sangh said that the suggestions of the Panchayat Secretaries’ union have been included in the manifesto by the Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath. We together will create a new history in connection to rebuilding of Madhya Pradesh according to the intention of the Chief Minister.
The President of the Panchayat Sachiv Sangathan Shri Dinesh Sharma also addressed the programme. At the outset, the Chief Minister was felicitated by both the Panchayat unions. The CM Shri Nath was presented ‘Gada’ in the form of memento.
