Digvijaya Singh’s tweet: My leader is Rahul Gandhi, will contest poll from where he says

Bhopal, March 18, 2019 (Muslim Saleem): My leader is Rahul Gandhi, will contest poll from where he says. This was stated by senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh reacting to CM Kamal Nath’s indication two days urging him to contest a tough seat of state. He tweeted that my leader is Rahul Gandhi. I am ready to contest from the seat from which he will ask for the election to contest. He also thanked Kamal Nath.
Digvijay Singh said, “I also came out victorious in the Janata Party wave of 1977 with the support people of Raghogarh, I have a habit of accepting the challenges. Wherever my leader Rahul Gandhi would say, I am ready to contest the Lok Sabha election.”
Digvijaya Singh also indicated in gestures that he should be given ticket from Rajgarh Lok Sabha seat, from which he has been chosen many times. Within the Rajgarh Lok Sabha seat, Raghogarh assembly seat comes in, which is his stronghold. Digvijaya tweeted, “Thank you Kamal Nath, who invited me to fight on the weak seats of Congress in Madhya Pradesh, he thought that I deserve this, I am grateful to him.”
Earlier, Kamal Nath had said that I have urged Digvijay Singh that if he wants to contest the Lok Sabha election then contest the elections from some tough constituency in the state. Talking about indirectly in Lok Sabha constituencies like Bhopal and Indore, he had said that there are 2-3 Lok Sabha seats in the state from which we have not won for 30-35 years.
After Chief Minister Kamal Nath, MP Jyotiraditya Scindia had also said on Sunday that big and strong leaders contested from the tough seats. Scindia said this on Nath’s question about Digvijay contesting the tough seat. He also said that the party will decide who else will contest from where they will contest.
