Man sentenced to death for murder of 4 minors and woman

Bhopal, March 20, 2019 (Ataullah Faizan): Ankur alias Nitesh Dikshit, who had brutally murdered by a woman and four minors in Virendra Nagar area of Bhind city, was sentenced to death by second Additional Sessions Judge ML Rathore on Tuesday at Bhind. The young man had slaughtered the five people by slitting their throats.
DPO Pravin Dikshit told that on May 14, 2016, Rambabu Shukla son of Radhakrishna, resident ward number 6, Virender Nagar, had filed a report in city Kotwali that his daughter-in-law Reena, granddaughter Chhaya, Mahima and Reena’s niece Ambika were lying dead in the house. In the second room, the son of his brother-in-law Raj Kumar was lying dead. Following this sensational incident, the Kotwali Police filed a case of murder and started investigations.
In the investigation, it was revealed that the accused Ankur son of Rajesh Dixit resident of Doctor Parashar Wali Gali in Govind Nagar had an illegal relationship with Reena Shukla. At night he went to see Reena. At the same time, Reena had already given sleeping pills to all children. But suddenly Golo woke up and saw Ankur and Rina in an compromising condition. After this, Ankur killed the children one after one.
Court remarks: The person who can brutally assassinate four young children and Rina because of having a relationship with only one woman, that person can kill any person in the future if he does not fulfill his wish. There is no possibility of improvement in it. To leave such a person alive in society is to insecure the lives of other people and society. The five persons were assassinated in a demurely manner, so that the whole city and the surrounding people were stunned. If the accused is punished with imprisonment then there will definitely be adverse impact on the society and the victims and the culprit will be encouraged to commit such abusive acts. Therefore, the sentence of life imprisonment appears to be inadequate in the background of this crime and the intention of justice is not complete because the criminal act of the accused comes in the category of the worst.
