British council to train primary teachers in English language

Process to begin from Ujjain division

Bhopal, 8  July, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan): Training will be imparted to primary school teachers to improve teaching of English language with the cooperation of British Council. For the training, the British Council will raise master trainers. At present, teachers posted in all primary schools in Ujjain division are being imparted training. Rajya Shiksha Kendra, English Language Training Institute and UNICEF will monitor the training. For English language training, test of 87 master trainers has been conducted. They would train primary teachers in various districts of Ujjain division. In this regard, the state government has issued directives to Principals of Education Colleges and DIET. Applications have been invited for selection by British Council. One selection test has been conducted at Ujjain. Second will be held at Bhopal on July 8. Directives have been given to send teachers-trainers of DIET and government colleges compulsorily for selection test.
