Photo journalists’ role vital in showing ground realities

shukl20.8Bhopal, August 20, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):  Public Relations and Energy Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that photo journalists’ role is vital in showing ground realities of society. Effective news cannot be conceived without photograph. Mr. Shukla was addressing felicitation function of photo journalists organised by Karmshri. organisation here today. As many as 175 photographers of print and electronic media were felicitated with shawls and coconuts. The Minister said that photographers and cameramen work taking risk. Excellent photographs snapped by them leave greater imprint on society. Mr. Shukla said that the state government organised state level photo journalism Samaroh for the first time. From next year, regional level photographers will also be felicitated by Public Relations Department. Transport Minister Mr. Bhupendra Singh said that newspaper cannot be conceived without photographs. He lauded initiative of Karmshri organisation.

Mr. Singh greeted photographers on World Photography Day. Karmshri’s President and MLA Mr. Rameshwar Sharma said that these days, entire world is acknowledging contribution of media representatives, newsmen and journalists. Along with journalists, photographers also put seal of credibility of news through photographs. Photographers always remain behind the curtain but fill colours in news. Their dedication is a source of inspiration.
