cm4.8Bhopal, August 4, 2015 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan while expressing profound grief over the death of former Labour Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mr. Jagannath Singh, said that he was a popular leader, social worker and able administrator. Working in various spheres of social life, he gave significant contribution to the state, specially Vindhya region. The Chief Minister placed a wreath as on the body of late Mr. Jagannath Singh at BJP office here today. Funeral of late Mr. Singh will be performed with state honours. Mr. Chouhan said that in Mr. Singh’s death, Madhya Pradesh has lost a dedicated leader who worked for welfare of the poor and tribals.

He struggled throughout his life to rid the poor and weaker sections of exploitation. He discharged his duties with dedication and trustworthiness as MLA, MP and Minister. Paying tributes on behalf of state’s people, he prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this loss. Former CMs Mr. Sunderlal Patwa and Mr. Kailash Joshi, Forest Minister Dr. Gaurishankar Shejwar, SC and ST Welfare Minister Mr. Gyan Singh, Finance & Water Resources Minister Mr. Jayant Malaiya, Public Relations & Energy Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla, Food Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Agriculture Minister Mr. Gaurishankar Bisen, Mayor Mr. Alok Sharma, Municipal Corporation Chairman Dr. Surjeet Singh Chouhan, other public representatives and large number of workers were also present.
