Ensure concrete arrangements to prevent malaria

 Health Minister Dr. Mishra directs

Bhopal, August 24, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):  Public Health & Family Welfare Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra has directed for special alert in malaria-prone areas. Departmental officers have been asked to keep constant watch over disease situation. Directives have also been given to ensure availability from medicines at all health centres. Dr. Mishra said that it is duty of doctors to save people from diseases. Action will be taken against negligence in this work. The Minister lauded people for being aware of ways to ward off dengue mosquitoes. He urged people to use mosquito-net, spray kerosene in water-logged pits and other preventive methods. Dr. Mishra said that it is necessary to adopt preventive methods to prevent disease.

Dr. Mishra said that work to make available dialysis facility for kidney treatment is on in all government hospitals, which will be completed soon.  The Minister directed to motivate voluntary donors to meet demand of blood, which is mostly required to save lives of people seriously injured in accidents. Sometimes, problems in treating patients crop up due of unavailability of blood of desired group. This problem can be easily solved by motivating volunteers to donate blood for blood banks.
