Union Minister Mrs. Gandhi meets CM Mr. Chouhan
Bhopal, August 28, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan): Union Minister for Women and Child Development Mrs. Maneka Gandhi met Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today. Mrs. Gandhi said that effective work has been done for women’s empowerment in Madhya Pradesh. It will be replicated in other states, too. The Chief Minister said that schemes for women have been chalked out in the state keeping social concerns in view. The Chief Minister said that Shaurya Dals are working effectively for women’s empowerment. These teams have created atmosphere against social evils. Mrs. Gandhi said that the Central government is chalking out a scheme to train and appoint women as special police officer in every village. They will work to prevent harassment of women and malnutrition. She also lauded Sneh Sarokar Yojana of the state government to check malnutrition. Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Maya Singh was also present on the occasion.
