Development works costing Rs. 106 crore sanctioned
Rs. 42 crore assistance to over 34,000 beneficiaries

Bhopal, August 29, 2015 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced setting up of horticulture hub at Petlawad in Jhabua district. He was addressing an Antyodaya Mela at Petlawad today where Labour Minister Mr. Antar Singh Arya was also present. The Chief Minister said that effective initiatives are being taken in the state to economically empower women. A convention of women’s self-help groups will be held at Bhopal soon. He informed that free health check-up of women is being conducted and free medicines given. Mr. Chouhan informed that a law will be formulated to give right on residential land to the poor in the state, which will be unique law in the country.
Expressing happiness over state’s youths excelling in all India competitive exams, he urged youths to study and move ahead in life. State government will extend every possible assistance to them. Remembering former MP late Mr. Dilip Singh Bhuria, he said that he was a social reformer and champion of de-addiction. Mr. Chouhan said that his dreams for development of the district will be fulfilled. The Chief Minister sanctioned Rs. 106 crore development works for Petlawad.
He announced to bring Narmada water to Petlawad , Rs. 34 crore sanction to Nagar Panchayat for drinking water, ghat on Mahri river bank at Bhabhrapada and construction of auditorium at Petlawad. He inaugurated ITI at Rama, sports ground at village Jamli in Petlawad and village Chhapri in Rama and performed Bhumi Poojan of girls hostel at Petlawad. Besides, assistance worth Rs. 42 crore 12 was also distributed to 34 thousand 444 beneficiaries of various schemes.
