Elected reps should partner in city’s all-round development

shukl4.9Bhopal, September 4, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):  Energy and Public Relations Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that no stone will be left unturned for development of Chakghat Nagar Panchayat. He said that work on Chakghat to Allahabad concrete 4-lane road will be started soon. Held-up work of Chakghat to Mangawan 4-lane road has been resumed. Mr. Shukla was addressing a function after swearing-in of Chakghat Nagar Panchayat’s newly elected President and corporator today.

The Minister said that as elected representatives, they should have concern about extension of basic civic amenities to people of the city and timely benefit of government schemes to eligible persons. He informed that Rs. 2 crore 50 lakh has been sanctioned for electricity-related works in Chakghat. Through these funds, electricity poles, cables, transformers will be installed and lines improved. Mr. Shukla informed that work on Semariya to Chakghat via Atraila road is being started. Completion of this road will change image and fortune of Chakghat. The Minister extended best wishes to newly elected President and corporators.
