Shri Krishna Janmashtami celebrated with traditional fervour
Shri Krishna’s teaching of selfless Karma ever relevant: Mr. Chouhan
Bhopal, September 6, 2015 (Muslim Saleem): Carrying forward spirit of respect for all religions, Mr. Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated on a grand scale at CM House here today. Bhajans in praise of Lord Mr. Krishna enveloped entire premises in devotional mood. While reciting sholakas of Bhagwat Gita, Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan invoked Lord Mr. Krishna for ending disturbance, Adharma and atrocities in society and establishing happiness and prosperity in the state, country and world. The Chief Minister also felicitated state level awardee teachers. He said that Lord Shri Krishna’s teaching of selfless Karma is ever relevant. Shri Krishna has taught path of knowledge, devotion and Karmayog to entire humanity.
Referring to Dr. Sarvpalli Radhakrishnan, the Chief Minister felicitated teachers. Remembering his teacher Mr. Ratan Chand Jain, he said that due to dedication and hard work of teachers, students Madhya Pradesh bringing laurels to the state. He said that students of the state have talent dedication and ability. They only need guidance. He said that no hurdle in students’ education will be allowed. It is noteworthy that the Chief Minister has established tradition of celebrating festivals of all religions at CM House and is moving ahead in the same direction.
In the same series, Lord Shri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated to full traditional dignity and fervour. Representatives of all religions, Mrs. Sadhana Singh, Mayor Mr. Alok Sharma and invitees were present on the occasion. Shri Krishna Leelas were enacted by artistes of Pratibha Sangeet Akademi of Ujjain under direction of Mr. Shailesh Vyas. Eminent folk singer Mrs. Malini Awasthi presented Shri Krishna Stuti engulfing atmosphere in devotion.
