Bhopal, September 6, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Minister of State for School Education Mr. Deepak Joshi felicitated teachers on Teacher’s Day at Laxmi Devi Vikonal Higher Secondary School, Gandhi Nagar here today. Mr. Joshi said that teachers carry responsibility to hone skills of next generation of the country. He said that all should feel proud in felicitating teachers. School Education Minister Mr. Paras Jain has called upon teachers to contribute their mite in building golden Madhya Pradesh. He likened teacher to a lamp which gives lights to others by burning itself.
Mr. Paras Jain was addressing 54th state level Teachers’ Felicitation Function here today. Mr. Jain also launched M-Shiksha-Mitra mobile app to ensure teachers’ attendance and give them other facilities. Departing from convention, the guests were welcomed by students. Students Ku. Madhu Prasad and Arvind Lohwanshi welcomed chief guest Mr. Paras Jain, Tribal Welfare Minister Mr. Gyan Singh and Minister of State for School Education Mr. Deepak Joshi. Till date, only senior officers used to welcome Ministers. Not only this, they also presented medicinal plants as mementoes to the guests.

Mr. Paras Jain said that M-Shiksha-Mitra mobile app is free of cost. Teachers can avail a number of facilities through it.
Congratulating teachers on behalf of Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, he said that the Chief Minister is concerned as how to enhance welfare and respect of teachers. Referring to improvement of education quality, he said that as per wish of Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, separate toilets are being constructed in schools for girls and boys. In deference of Chief Minister’s wish, School Chalen Ham Abhiyan is conducted every year. Schools’ infrastructure is being improved through people’s cooperation. Over 25 thousand teachers have been promoted during recent years. Online and transparent posting of 799 teachers has been made. Mr. Jain urged teachers to improve teaching standards along with children’s welfare wherever they are posted.
