gaur15.9Bhopal, September 13, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):   Love your language, culture and attires, stated Home Minister Mr. Babulal Gaur at Hindi Diwas function here today. Higher and Technical Education Minister Mr. Umashankar Gupta said that Hindi Olympiad will be held in government schools and colleges whose winners will be awarded. Mr. Gaur said that destruction of Hindi and Indian culture was a nefarious game of the British. He said that Hindi and Indian culture are and will remain intact despite distortion efforts by various invaders.

Rural Development Minister Mr. Gopal Bhargava said that educating children through Hindi medium schools will be biggest service to Hindi. He said that many times more English has been taught in independent India than during 100 years of British rule.  Mr. Gupta said that no foreign language can be language of the masses. He said that Hindi is spoken in about 137 countries. Mr. Gupta said that one should learn other languages also, but Hindi should be mandatory.

MP Mr. Anil Madhav Dave said that everyone should sign in Hindi. He said that Hindi and its friendly languages should be developed. Primary education should be imparted in mother tongue. Minister of State for Culture Mr. Surendra Patwa said that every possible effort should be made to preserve and promote Hindi. Student of Maharani Laxmi Bai Girls College Anushri Saxena said that along with national language, efforts should also be made to make Hindi international language.

Student of Sarojini Naidu Girls College  Shruti Mishra said that a language like Hindi develops in centuries. Principal Mrs. Urmila Shirish said that Hindi Varsh should be observed. Hindi Sewa pledge was administered to all. The function started with Madhya Pradesh Gaan and Hindi Gaan. MP Mr. Alok Sanjar, MLAs Mr. Vishwas Sarang and Mr. Rameshwar Sharma and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
