cmvdeio19.9Bhopal, September 19, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):   Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has warned officers that no negligence in action against criminals will be tolerated. He directed to launch a drive throughout the state for survey of licences for explosives and ensure compliance with rules and processes. He made it clear that collector and SP will be held responsible if negligence results in any accident. All departments should improve their functioning. Strict action will be taken against concerning persons in case of any irregularity. The Chief Minister was addressing commissioners, IGs, collectors, SPs and other officers through video-conferencing at Mantralaya here today. Chief Secretary Mr. Anthony de Sa and other senior officers were also present on the occasion. The Chief Minister directed to ensure better implementation of schemes.

People should get schemes’ benefit easily and within time-limit. He made it clear that public problems should be solved promptly and properly.  The Chief Minister said that good governance is his top priority. Total honesty, transparency and credibility should be ensured for clean governance. He directed collectors to launch Saadhikhar Abhiyan on the lines of Ratlam district to make available benefits of government schemes easily to eligible beneficiaries. Every eligible beneficiary should be provided benefits without any delay. CEOs of Zila Panchayats must ensure to make available benefits of schemes without any hurdle. Divisional commissioners will regularly monitor it.

The Chief Minister directed collectors to make field visits and send report about factual position of schemes’ implementation and development works by 7th of every month. The reports will be reviewed by the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary. He gave strict directives for effective public hearing and quick disposal of complaints received at CM Helpline. He directed officers to do their best and be pro-active for public welfare and development of the state.
