New schemes to be drafted according to necessity for women

lead3.2.11Bhopal, February 3, 2011 (Muslim Saleem):   The Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the State Government will make all possible efforts to empower women socially, economically, politically if needed new schemes be framed out for them. Ladli Laxmi Yojna has made the girls prosperous in the state. A total of Rs 1 thousand crore will be deposited under the scheme. A sum of Rs 700 crore is being deposited this year. More money will be deposited as per requirement. Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan was speaking after laying foundation stone for the construction of new building of Government Maharani Laxmibai Autonomous College today. He further said that the 50 percent reservations have been ensured in Panchayats with a view to empowering women in the state. There will be no discrimination for the women. They will be given opportunities to grow and make bright career.

Efforts are being made to wipe the tears of all mothers, sisters and daughters. Schemes have been framed out for the development of women from all caste and creed.  With the free uniforms, text books and bicycles schemes in education sector, works are also being done for poor women labourers. Expectant mothers are given wages of 45 days on motherhood. The Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan called upon the girls to develop themselves in every sector. Every body has scope provided that one should have will power to achieve the goal. The students should always be ambitious with highest target. Mr. Chouhan said that the auditorium of the college will not face ignorance. It will be developed as per necessity and capacity.

The Chief Minister assured that sports grounds will be reserved for the students with the capacity building of library, computer centre and canteen. Besides, he also said that time table of Nagar Sewa will be amended as per periods of college. Home Minister Mr. Uma Shankar Gupta said that girls are not burden on the parents in Madhya Pradesh. The dreams of the freedom fighters who had envisaged a golden state are coming true with the efforts of State Government. The State Government has worked for the people of poor community without any discrimination. There will be no single person who is deprived of government benefits.
