Officers should help poor and needy persons: Mr. Agrawal

Bhopal, July 8, 2011 (Ataullah Faizan):  Minister of State for General Administration Mr. Kanhaiyalal Agrawal has appealed to the government machinery especially officials to work with dedication in order to ensure benefits of welfare schemes and programmes of State Government to poor and needy persons. Mr. Agrawal was addressing probationary officers of State Administrative service at R.C.V.P Academy of Administration and Management today. On this occasion, Director General of Academy Mr. Prashant Mehta, Director Mr. Rakesh Agrawal and Academy faculty members were present.   Minister of State Mr. Agrawal said that the probationary officers should gather information about the people of various walks of life and ensure benefits of the schemes to them.

The Minister informed that the Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has launched schemes and programmes for each and every community and society of the State. It’s upto the officers of State Administrative Service to execute them in proper manner so that people can derive benefits of the same. He told the probationary officers to learn as much as they can during the training period.

Director General of Academy Mr. Mehta informed that the Academy imparts training not only of building administrative skills but also personality development to the probationary officers selected under State Administrative Service. Course Director Mrs. Pratibha Rajgopal informed that 45 State Administrative Service officers of various departments are being imparted training from May 23 to July 29 including rural training of three days.
