Lauds state’s schemes for women

Bhopal, September 30, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):  One more one-stop crisis centre will be opened in Madhya Pradesh. This assurance was given by Union Women & Child Development Minister Mrs. Maneka Gandhi to Women & Child Development Minister Mrs. Maya Singh today. Mrs. Gandhi lauded women’s empowerment schemes of Madhya Pradesh saying that central government will implement Madhya Pradesh’s innovative schemes at national level. Minister Mrs. Maya Singh met Mrs. Gandhi in New Delhi today. She urged for opening of one more one-stop crisis centre in the state in addition to Indore. She also urged for sanction to proposal regarding opening of new Anganwadis.

Mrs. Singh urged the Union Minister to send other states’ representatives to Madhya Pradesh so that they could be apprised of Shaurya Dal and other schemes and their implementation in Madhya Pradesh. Mrs. Gandhi described state’s schemes as worth emulating for entire country. She said that schemes should be chalked out in such a way that they can benefit target groups in true sense. In this respect, Madhya Pradesh’s schemes are result-oriented.
