lead8.9.11Bhopal, September 8, 2011 (Muslim Saleem):  The Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has described Madhya Pradesh as an incredible State with having ample prospects for the development of tourism, a reflection of Kashmir in the lakes of Bhopal can be witnessed. If Jehangir were alive today, he would have realized heaven of the world in Bhopal itself. Mr. Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh would be drawn up on the map of world tourism. The Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan was dedicating an air taxi services here at Raja Bhoj airport today. On this occasion, Health, Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mr. Narottam Mishra (one of nine passengers of this first taxi services), Tourism Minister Mr. Puar, Mayor Mrs. Krishna Gaur, MLAs Mr. Jitendra Daga, Mr. Dhruvanarayan Singh, Tourism Development Corporation Chairman Dr. Mohan Yadav were present.

Mr. Chouhan further said that there are plenty of recourses in religious, natural, flora-fauna and historical tourism sectors in Madhya Pradesh. The other three world heritages Khajuraho, Bhimbetka and Sanchi also exist in Madhya Pradesh. Major rivers like Narmada, Kshipra, Betwa, Tapti, Chambal and Parvati also flow majestically across the State. Besides, Pachamarhi and Amarkantak capped with natural resources located in the State. On the other hand, man purifies his life by seeking blessings at Mahakal in Ujjain, Jyotirling in Omkareshwar, Ram-Raja temple in Orchha, Sharda temple in Maihar and Chamuda Mata temple in Dewas.

The Chief Minister said that there are reports that tigers can be heard roaring in the peripheral area of Bhopal apart from general views at Kanha-Kisali, Bhandvgarh, Pench National Park. He said that every body is interested in visiting Mandu a site for an immortal love of Bajbahadur and Rupamati. He underlined the need for promoting such places, for this, grand functions will be organised with a view to catering to the tourists after the festival of lights. The Chief Minister said that he would himself take interest in attending the functions to be held there as well as inviting world personalities for the same.

Mr. Chouhan said that Khajuraho would soon be included in air taxi services. A helipad will be developed at Sanchi. The Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan hoped that initiative of air taxi facility would give positive results in promoting the tourism and commercial activities.  However, the Chief Minister said that the traveling facility should be comfortable and with safety. Mr. Chouhan said if fare is affordable then farmers can also fly in the same as they have been associated with profitable task of agriculture.
