Bhopal, October 2, 2015 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan on third day of his ongoing Japan visit met the Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Taro Aso at Tokyo today and sought greater cooperation between Japan and India saying that it will encourage bilateral trade to the optimum level. Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Taro informed Mr. Chouhan that a large number of small and medium enterprises of Japan are keen on investing in India. Mr. Chouhan invited Mr. Taro Aso to Global Investors Summit -2016. Addressing the 40th joint meeting of India-Japan Business Cooperation Committee (IJBCC) Mr. Chouhan invited the prospective investors and people of Japan to Madhya Pradesh.
Mr. Chouhan had a series of important meetings. He met the heads of renowned companies and had fruitful discussions about investment avenues. Holding discussions with the Vice President of Lixil Corporation Mr. Ryuichi Kawamoto about low cost sanitation in the state, Mr. Chouhan informed that Madhya Pradesh would construct 15 lakh well-designed houses in coming three years. Sewage system will also be developed.
The Chief Minister met the Chairman of Mayekawa Manufacturing Mr. Tanaka and discussed the possibilities of developing cold storage for onions, potatos and fish. Mr. Chouhan also discussed the areas of cooperation with Executive Vice President of Fuji Electric Mr. Yashio Okuno and invited the Fuji Electric to collaborate in electrical manufacturing sector. He sought cooperation for providing technology for the upcoming smart cities. During discussions with top officials of Furukawa Electric about investment in cable manufacturing, the officials informed that the company is planning to do feasibility studies for producing joint cables in MP.
