Mrs. Maya Singh undertakes review
Bhopal, October 16, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan): Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Maya Singh has directed for constant monitoring of schemes for children and women. She said that our responsibility has increased since state’s schemes have not only earned national praise but also several awards. Mrs. Singh undertook departmental review here today. Mrs. Singh said that it is matter of pride that all departmental schemes are included in priorities of the Chief Minister. We should never be negligent in works and duties. She said that achievements should be visible on the faces of beneficiaries and not merely in figures.
Referring to country-wide acclaim of Shaurya Dal, Mrs. Singh said that it should be established as one-stop crisis centre. Through it, villages will be made violence-free. She exhorted members of Shaurya Dal to cooperate in preventing child marriages on ensuing Dev Prabodhini Ekadashi. Directing for better conduct with boys and girls staying in various institutions under the department, she instructed for special sanitation on Deepawali. She also stressed the need for timely utilisation of budget. Mrs. Singh said that girl children should be greeted in every village and theme-based activities held every month.
Principal Secretary W&CD Mr. J.N. Kansotiya directed for special attention to sending boys and girls of children’s protection homes and imparting them vocational training. He said that department’s Foster Care Scheme has been lauded by the Central government. He directed to prepare cent percent Aadhar Cards of inmates of these institutions.
