Minister Mr. Bisen participates in plantation
Bhopal, August 10, 2012 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Cooperatives Minister Mr. Gaurishankar Bisen has said that degrading environment has become a danger of human life. Maximum plantation of saplings is the need of the hour under such circumstances. Cooperative Minister Mr. Bisen was addressing a plantation programme at water treatment plant in Balaghat today. MLA Mr. Ramesh Bhatere was also present on the occasion. Mr. Bisen said that the State Government is committed to ensure supply of clean drinking water to every house. For this, Mukhyamantri Pey-Jal Yojna has been implemented. It is being run by availing loan to the tune of Rs. 500 crore. He informed that development works worth Rs. 55 lakh are being made in scheduled caste localities at Balaghat city.
Mr. Bisen planted sapling of fruit-bearing trees along with a large number of people. He also administered a pledge to citizens to protect these saplings. Municipality Chairman Mr. Ramesh Rangnani informed that two thousand saplings are being planted in 22 wards of the city under Hariyali Mahotsav for making the city green and beautiful. Saplings of fruit-bearing trees were planted at today’s programme under Hariyali Mahotsav.
