guv22.10.15Bhopal, October 22, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):  Governor Mr. Ram Naresh Yadav while paying tributes to Shaheed police officers and jawans on Police Commemoration Day here today, has said that state level police helpline is functioning with maximum alertness for control over crimes against women. Common people have heaved a sigh of relief and started feeling safe as a result of continuous action against anti-social elements. He said that this sense of security in the society should be maintained. Governor, Home Minister and police officers paid tributes to Shaheed police personnel by laying wreaths on Shaheed Memorial.

The Governor said that police personnel are an inseparable part of society. Path of all-round development will be paved only through peace, harmony and brotherhood in society. Police personnel should discharge their duties keeping this in view. Laudable efforts for maintenance of peace are being made in Madhya Pradesh. Home Minister Mr. Babulal Gaur while paying tributes to Shaheed police personnel, said that though police personnel discharge their duties facing a number of difficulties, but it is in the interest of society that they continue to discharge their duties giving top priority to rule of law. Police meets with success due to its reputation and aura. Police commands respect in society when its functioning and conduct are clean and impartial.

DGP Mr. Surendra Sinh said that Shaheed Diwas is an occasion to perpetuate memories of dutifulness and martyrdom of police personnel by paying tributes to them unitedly. He said that Madhya Pradesh police is committed to maintaining atmosphere of peace, law & order and development in any situation. Governor Mr. Yadav met family members of martyrs. A condolence parade was also held and salute was given to Shaheed Memorial.
